![]() So far, no USEFUL help from the Geek Squad, or. Also, it seemed to have loaded the first time I installed the software. It seems to me that I need to buy the program Easy Media Creator, but Best Buy told me the Easy CD & DVD Burning program was all I needed. The 2009 file says "Could not locate the required registry Key for removal!" The 2010 file says "the information has been successfully entered into the registry". I installed both the 'removeUninstallKe圜2010' and '2009ContentDiskError_HotFix' zip files from Roxio. This happens whether I use the D or E drive, now. When the Roxio CD starts to install, the message "You must install Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 before installing the Content!" appears. So I uninstalled & attempted to reinstall from the new E drive. The software did not recognize my old D:, or my new E: drives. It has 1GB RAM & 80GB hard drive with 42GB still free. It is a basic CD/DVD burner program instead, that was designed for computers using Windows XP through to Windows 7. It is not part of the Roxio Creator suite. So, I had a new DVD burner installed in my Dell Dimension 4700 desktop running Windows XP. The Roxio Burn software is a complimentary application that is put on some computers at the point of sale. I bought & installed the software, BUT, what I thought was a DVD burner was only DVD-R & CD/RW. Hi, I thought I knew something about computers, but read on.
